hello world. i haven't been here in a long long time. the week's been really hectic and i don't even have time to come online nowadays. anyway valentine's day was spent going back to ij for invest. i really miss ij and all of them a lot. a whole load that i wish i could retain forever in ij. this is my second year sitting back and watching my successors do their job and i must say it's quite heartening to see them do what they need to do and do what i've done last time. singing the school song once again made me feel totally at home and gives me a nostalgic feeling, hearing the head prefect give her speech made me think back and think that two years ago i was standing up there giving my speech and being kinda nervous about it, seeing the head prefect pass on the flame to the rest of the board made me think that i too once passed on that flame to the rest of my board, hearing them sing the ij spirit song made me feel that i'll always be at home here in ij. i guess leading the prefectorial board and just being part of it made me learnt a lot. mingling with the prefects after the event was just awesome, catching up, laughing at old times, seeing them all move from sec 2 last time and now to sec 4, and they were just mere junior prefects when i was sec four. i miss them so much. i guess we've to move forward in life and the only thing we can do is cherish and keep the past memories close to our hearts. ij has given me a lot, taught me a lot, nurtured me into a better person. those ten years in ij will be the best part of my life, my growing journey. (:
the ij spirit's living on, it's stretching far and far beyond it's never gonna die it's gonna live in each of us and we will keep it buring burning strong the flame of zest lies in us all along always inspiring us to go on....
anyway thank you william tse for yesterday and for being the first to wish me happy valentine's day. (:
