ended up going to town with bel and shamir today. then we went to borrow books from library! haha what nerds are we! but reading's fun and nice ((: then we walked and walked till we were so tired cause we were looking for the masks for grad night. haha we walked and walked and i had a craving for old chang kee till bel wanted to kill me. then we found masks and the party shop at centrepoint but they were either too ugly, too plain, too expensive. so we walked to spotlight. found plain masks there so we have to paint it. bought those and jason was being nice by coming to us to get the masks and bringing it home to paint it. thanks jason! ((: talking to shawnlai just now was really nice and comforting. we're such emo kids together! (: its nice to know someone shares the same sentiments about certain stuff and how he shares about what he thinks about certain issues and stuff.its funnny how i knew him in sec 2 yet didnt even speak a word to him in acjc during first three months.anyway thanks a lot shawn! go get your bike soon and then we can go cycling!
When one door of happiness closes,another opens,but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one that has been opened for us.' something i found on shawn's blog. i guess we are often held back by the past that we fail to move ahead in life. yet, again its so hard because that happiness was happiness to us in the past and memories are so hard to let go. that happiness once brought us laughter and joy and simple pleasures so now that its gone, we hope to have it again, failing to realise that its gone and we'll never have it again. and since we put so much emphasis on that and fail to release that baggage of ours, we'll never see the new happiness in front of us. thats part of life. i hope i never need to close that door of happiness and keep it within me forever.
