yesterday was just a nerve wrecking day. ponned school in the morning cos i didnt wanna go school to do compo and didnt wanna take pe so i slept all the way to eleven plus cos i told myself sleep will make you not think so much. yep woke up ate and went off to toapayoh interchange to meet the rest. my gosh was super scared cos amelia and aileen already knew their results but the three of us were just panicking like crazy. went to school and it was in the dance studio so heard ms tan's talk and our school improved since last yr!! ((: yeah then waited for mrs alex to give out our results. my index number was like almost to the back so had to wait super long and i was already in tears. tears of fear and anxiety!! haha when it got to my turn, i was like how to count!!! haha then slowly counted and i was like 8?!?!? and i was like jumping and crying!! haha clarissa was infected by my tears that she cried also! tears of joy ! ((: couldnt believe what i got!! was in shock and then saw a lot of the others jumping in joy! esp my class 4/2. we all did really well, way above the teacher's expectations. still remember all the teachers coming into class one by one telling us "4/2 you're under-performing.you're far behind 4/1 in terms of distinctions."it was super demoralising! but i guess it woked us up and we've moved on together as one class. 4/2 im so proud of all of you and im sure mr tan would be too although he couldnt be the one to give us our results.
anyway i found elaine and marianne to go for our prefects investiture which was starting already so changed into our blazers and sat in the front row beside the new exco.it was gonna be the last time i would ever be at prefects invest and it would be the last time i put on my head prefect badge but nonetheless i was happy. it was also the last time i would sing the school song and for once i sang it loud and with pride. the whole procedure was the same as last yr but then i wasnt the one going up to receive anything nor to give a speech but yet as i saw my predecessor germaine delivering her speech, i knew it was time to let go and let them take over officially. then next was the installation of the other prefects. though the sec 2s were unfamiliar but when the sec 3s and sec 4s went up, it seems like we've watched them grow up and now it was their turn to take over. invest ended and i talked to so many teachers!! first was mrs chu, haha she almost forgot im an ex girl and she was like "petrina, wait wait you're our ex head right?" then it was ms yip and mrs low and mr jiao! hahaha they both found out the nicknames we gave them like jacky and maggie!! haha we were laughing like crap about how we did a spotcheck on 4/9 last yr and made it so serious that we checked the ceilings for handphones! yep caught up on a lot of stuff and they're really nice teachers. okay then talked to a lot of other people too. after that went with aileen amelia marianne wong and chang and elaine to ps swensons to eat! ((: we sat at the same place again!! ate and ate then walked down orchard and sat in bk.then home! when i got home and deleted most of my msges there were 28 new msges and i realised my phone was screwed couldn receive any msges before that cos i ddint delete and my inbox was full!!! was so irritated!! but anyway im a happy girl today!! ((:
