today offcially marks the official day in ij. it wasnt as what i expected though. my tears didnt come streaming down although tears were shed in class at the end at 1.50. maybe at that moment there were too many things happening that i didnt really feel much. but here penning down all my thoughts, flashes of moments in ij just keeps coming back. perhaps it is because of the really wonderful things that happen here in ij that i cant help but feel nostalgic about it. as we took our last class photo today, it just feels nice because having come together as acquaintainces and not knowing each other at all, we've become one. even at the end of sec 3 we werent close at all. but then now, 4/2 has journeyed through all the obstacles together. we were once classified as a class who was perpetually underperforming. every teacher came in and told us how we werent gonna make it if we dont work hard. and indeed our prelims proved them wrong. we are back where we're supposed to be because 4/2 has helped each other along the way. we've gone through so much together, sharing our joys and sorrows together. joys as we went for our sentosa outings, zoo outings, the many lunches and dinners together at magic wok, the putting up of chinese new year deco and winning it!! the times during our retreats where it brought us all together. you all are a great bunch of people who never fail to brighten my life. then there's our form teacher mr tan as well. thank you mr tan for bringing this class together. the class wouldnt be where we are now without u. i know we always dont seem to understand your intention but now we do. all the things u planned for us really helped build the bond between us. thank you. and u are not the catalyst of the class. you'll always be part of the class!thank you ij for moulding me to be the person that i am today.thank you mr tan, thank you every single one of u in 4/2 esp amelia gretchen and aileen, thank you prefects , thank you council 05. once an ij girl, always an ij girl.
