alright had national day celebrations today, had mass celebrated by father ambrose vaz. rather nice mass, it was fun at the last part. anyway yepp, then after sch was prefects' general meeting ! my general meeting for the year which marks the end of my term of office as head prefect and me being in the council. it was a really sweet gm. yepp, lined up all the prefects in the hall and awaited the new council's arrival. they all knew the results already so it wasnt so surprising. but anyway yeah then council 05 started the gm which followed by the presentation of gifts and badges to the new council. (: then thanked the sec 4s for everything. its kinda sad that they're leaving and so are we. yeah then danielle brought in the birthday cake for alicia! congrats!! i guess the school gave u a big birthday present by making u a councillor! (: HAPPY BIRTHDAY! yeah then new council continued gm. followed by presentation of gifts from them to us! yeah then i also gave all the sec 4s letters which i wrote ! spent a really long time writing the 24 letters!
well, im sad to leave the prefectorial board but im glad the new council's taking over cos i know they'll do a good job. the board is in good hands i know. this one year has been a tough and long one but i;ve learnt a lot on the way to my final destination. i've seen tears shed and heard laughter and im glad to have gotten to be in the prefectorial board. thank you mrs tan aye leng and class 2/3 for voting me in. without u all, everything wouldnt be possible. my 2 years in prefectorial have led me to meet so many nice pple. they've made my life in ij a million times nicer and really left me loads of memories that i will caryy withme as i leave ij. though my stay in the board has been short but im glad to be in it nonetheless.
i wanna thank the sec 4s for everything. u all were the ones who journeyed with me throughout my entire 2 yrs as prefects. most of u have been in the prefectorial board longer than i've been and u all really taught me a lot. u accepted my weaknesses and helped me through whatever problems i faced during my term of office. my friendship with each one of u has grown trememdously these 2 yrs and i really treasure it. the friendship shared between us can never be found or made elsewhere in class or cca. its like one big family ! yeah the badge that we wear every day on our pinfaores doesnt only show that we are prefects but it shows that we are binded together by a bond because we all believe in the motto" noblesse oblige" . we've come together to serve the school, to have fun together, to share all our joy and pain together as one. we've had our fair share of fun times and sad times. i'll always treasure the laughter and joy each one of u has brought into my life. the 24 of u are a great bunch of prefects and great friends. thank you so much sec 4s for journeying with me. although we're going our separate ways but im sure when we see each other on the streets, we'll always remember we once belong and will always belong to the ij prefectorial board! love u all !

my vice head siti: hey girl, u've been a great source of help whenever i needed it. i've complained to u a greal deal and i know sometimes i just make u annoyed with my unreasonable ways. thank you so much for everything. im glad we became much closer after this one year in the council. i've had so much fun talking to u about anything and everything. u're the best vice head in my opinion and i wouldnt have so many beautiful memories without u in council! (: take care girl!
hr councillor ken li : hey girl! u've definitely brought laughter and fun into the council. without u, council meetings wouldnt be so boring and draggy! hahah although we always laugh at u being slow but u know we dont mean it! hehe, u've helped me a lot, trying to change the duty list every week though school work is piling up, hearing me complaing about everything.haha i will definitely miss u calling me boss!! haha no longer your boss anymore, but thank you for supporting me through my term as head. take care girl!
pr councillor:shermeen: hey!! thanx for everything ! for stretching out that hand to help whenever i needed and for never complaining whenever i made u all do so many stuff. i know there were times when we didnt see eye to eye but im glad everything's solved and we're still friends.tc!

to the sec 2s, work together with the new council towards building a stronger and more bonded board. the board can only work if u all put in effort too. the board wouldnt be what it is without u all. u are the future leaders of our sch!
its time to leave. thank you chij prefectorial board. i'll remember each of you always. you've made my life so much more colourful and enjoyable. i'll remember all the events and duties with u all ! will always remember the reception part where we all eat togther, will remember the countless parents' night and sitting out in the open hearing meng jung's ghost story and gazing at stars. thank you once again and continue to live out the motto " NOBLESSE OBLIGE". its been a fulfilling two years in ij prefects. (: love u all !
